Job Purpose

This position will be responsible for supporting customers, as well as other Client Account Managers, by assisting with the preparation of applications from information supplied by producers. The individual will be performing supporting tasks such as assisting in the renewal process, checking policies and other documents for accuracy, preparing certificates of insurance and claims monitoring.

Job Duties

  • Will be responsible for servicing assigned accounts, including changes to policies, renewals, claims, endorsements, billing issues, quoting and general account questions and maintenance.
  • Assist with new account set up.
  • Maintain insured client's files in the Agency Management System.
  • Utilize internet-based rating and quoting systems.
  • Gather detailed underwriting information and select potential markets for new business quotes.
  • Review activities and meet timeline workflow standards.
  • Review policy expiration reports and cancellation reports.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations.
  • Will be responsible for filing electronic and paper documents.
  • Will respond to customer inquiries.
  • Assist in retention of clients.
  • Act as back up to department functions as needed.
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Current Insurance license preferred.
  • Must become a Licensed Insurance Agent within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Must be prompt, efficient, accurate, and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and customer service experience are also required.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must become a Licensed Insurance Agent within the first 12 months of employment.
