Being good neighbors - helping people, investing in our communities, and making the world a better place - is who we are at State Farm. It is at the core of how we operate and the reason for our success. Come join a #1 team and do some good! The State Farm Investment Department is a leading investment manager entrusted with managing $350 billion in support of the company's auto, home, and life insurance products. Within the Investment Department, the Private Placement Team manages nearly $19 billion in private debt securities and executes approximately $4 billion in transactions per year.

Team members negotiate new deal terms with investment bankers, determine relative value of investment opportunities, and collaborate with legal counsel to structure new debt investments and amend existing agreements. New team members will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate a broad range of skills in the areas of investment analysis, valuation and trading, and portfolio management of fixed income securities. Team members earn additional responsibility and authority over time by demonstrating capability.
