Key Responsibilities as a Financial Analyst include:
- Tracking and reviewing project budgets, deadlines, and financials alongside the Program Manager.
- Resolving invoice and payment discrepancies between the Government and contractors.
- Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with Government funding and contractual requirements.
- Preparing detailed weekly and monthly status reports for submission to Program Management and Contracting Officer Representatives.
- Reviewing cost center, charge codes, and timesheet data with precision.
- Auditing project financials, managing travel requests, and assisting with impactful presentations for senior leadership.
- Supporting briefings, demonstrations, training initiatives, and outreach efforts as needed.
- Support acquisition management activities, budget analysis, contractactions, and data requirements.
- Improve and maintain expertise in acquisition regulations and policy.
Job Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- DHS Suitability Clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- 8-10 years in accounting, finance, and project management support within theDepartment of Homeland Security.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Products and advanced analytical capabilities.
- Impeccable attention to detail, strong writing and communication abilities, and top-tier organizational skills.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $90,000- $105,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
