The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) invites you to apply today to be considered for a position that provides customer service to the citizens of Maryland every day. The MTA is one of the largest transit systems in the United States and is seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to join the MTA team.
The Superintendent manages the technicians that maintaining the MTA's Automatic Fare
Collection System for BaltimoreLink. This includes the mechanical, electronic and
electrical
The Superintendent of Fare Collections Maintenance:
? Directly supervises Fare Collections maintenance supervisors, and indirectly
supervises electronic technicians, repair and other support personnel.
? Reports to the Fare Collections Chief of Maintenance.
? Generally, works a set day shift schedule, but may be required to work rotating
shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays and is subject to call-in 24 hours
a day.
? Generally, works in an office setting, but is required to review and inspect work
completed in all Operating environments, which may be hazardous, and to travel
to various locations throughout the MTA service area as needed.
? Some work assignments may require the employees to wear protective clothing
and use safety equipment.
