Overview

We are seeking an outgoing, organized, and friendly Senior Customer Service Representative to join our growing team and provide excellent service to our customers. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Supervisor, this role will be responsible for inputting and managing customer purchase orders and field return requests. They will also be responsible for processing customer order forms, and obtaining approvals for purchase orders prior to entering those orders into the ERP (software) system.. They will be a "lead" CSR, showing initiative, drive, and pro-activeness among the team assisting the other members, as required. This position requires professionalism, friendliness and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Accountable for ensuring that customer requests for information and quotes are responded accurately and timely
  • Coordinate with functional groups (e.g. operations, engineering, contracts, program management) to ensure inputs are received in a timely manner in accordance with the sales quote process for purchase orders awarded from customers.
  • Answer customer questions and provide information to resolve any issues.
  • Solve problems and situations
  • Complete routine / non-routine tasks in creative and effective ways, determining methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Support Business Development Managers / Program Managers as necessary
  • Proactive with customer satisfaction
  • Works under minimal supervision, relying on established processes to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals
  • Understand implementations of work and makes recommendations for solutions to problems
  • Maintain and promote a successful and positive work environment

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of related customer service experience
  • Prior experience using software programs
  • Prior data entry experience
  • Experience working cross-functionally with other departments
  • 2 years of experience with a CRM
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred:

  • Experience in working with government contracts preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or SAP
  • Active Security clearance
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to handle and solve complex customer situations
  • Experience in demand-driven business process execution
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Has a track record in building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal customers
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience in working with a wide range of routine and non-routine tasks
  • Worked in an environment, focused on continuous improvement
  • Team-oriented
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis

Salary Range: Customer Service Representative IV: $27.00-$37.00. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
