JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health or a related field required.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working with individuals with SUD, SED, SMI, OUD, or COD in positions demonstrating increasing responsibility.

  • Must have clinical supervision and management experience in behavioral health, health, or other human services systems at mid-level management or higher.

  • Must value cultural diversity and embrace recovery-oriented trauma informed approaches to help people achieve their full potential.

  • A valid Florida's Driver's License with current automobile insurance is needed.

Preferred Qualification:

Clinical license preferred. Experience in or knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers and other primary care programming is strongly preferred, as is knowledge of health care financing, especially Medicaid. Seeking creative individual who is mission-driven self-starter on an upward trajectory toward career goals. Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Start-up, implementation, and on-going operational oversight of the Prevention and intervention initiative; including direct supervision of project framework, evidence-based interventions, and achievement of all required SAMSHA performance outcomes. Excellent verbal/written communication skills and familiarity with federal grant requirements/procedures and evidence-based/informed treatment models. Proven skills in networking among diverse agencies, and strong planning, administrative, management, and ability to present with confidence to high levels of government and the private health and human services sector.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:
1. Direct communication with SAMHSA Project Officer as authorized agency representative.
2. Directly plan, implement, and oversee operation of the project.
3. Demonstrate a team-approach with ability to coordinate with community partners and Centerstone colleagues.
4. Represent the project at high-level federal/state/county meetings.
5. Hire, orient, and train project staff.
6. Provide care consultation and intervention supervision for team members.
7. Ensure team maintains up-to-date knowledge of community resources/services for individuals in recovery from SUD, SED, SMI, OUD, and/or COD.
8. Assist in coordinating training and professional development for team members.
9. Ensure compliance with all grant requirements.
10. Coordinate with all national, state, and local level oversight entities as required.
11. Collaborate with Evaluation to ensure continuous quality improvement and collection/ reporting of all required data.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Works in well-lighted areas. Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during work hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is involved with clients, residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., in a behavioral health setting.

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel:

This is a full time, exempt position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday- days. This position may be required to work evening and weekend hours. Travel is required.

Pay Range:

$67,610.00--$101,430.00
