Treasury Management Officer

Summary:

As a Treasury Management Sales Officer, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of treasury management services by identifying and acquiring new business clients while nurturing existing relationships. You will provide customized cash management solutions and collaborate with various banking departments.

Essential Functions:

• Develop channels to obtain new Treasury Management clients and manage prospect pipeline
• Work closely with Loan Officers and other bank employees calling on existing and prospective business clients
• Provide expertise to prospective and existing Treasury Management clients to determine needs and recommend solutions
• Perform regular client follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction, identify growth opportunities, and expands relationships
• Work closely with Treasury Client Relationship Specialists to ensure smooth product implementation and positive customer experience

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of CCB.
• Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
• Complete required bank and OnCourse training courses within assigned time frame(s).
• All employees are accountable for compliance with applicable laws and regulations when performing their job duties.
• Represent in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
• Regular and predictable attendance to accomplish assigned job duties.
• Additional duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• 2 to 5 years in banking environment or financial institution or minimum 2-year experience in Treasury/Cash Management.
• Knowledge of, or ability to understand Treasury products and services, including but not limited to Online Banking, ACH, Positive Pay, Merchant Services, Wire Transfers, Remote Deposit, Sweep Accounts, analyzed Accounts, etc.
• Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline and achievement of sales goals.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, in writing and on the phone, with business owners, their employees, and other internal bank team members.
• Highly organized with the ability to keep track of, and move to completion, multiple projects

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
