WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
As a Vice President, Director of Communications & Amplifications Strategy, you'll lead strategy development and planning and bring to life the most effective and interesting experiences for top-tier brands. You'll partner with creatives, business leads, experiential production and other disciplines within Momentum's network to ensure strategy is properly reflected across all initiatives and touchpoints. You'll bring inspiration and actionable insights to the fast-evolving brand landscape and help evolve the agency's POV on both consumer behavior and shopping experiences.


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)



  • Lead development and implementation of social strategies across multiple accounts, driving innovation and excellence in digital brand planning and integrated marketing creative
  • Collaboration with Key Departments: Work closely with Client Service, Strategy, Analytics, and Creative departments and to ensure a holistic and data-driven approach to creative development. Foster a collaborative environment that unites diverse expertise and need for strong customer experience
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the strategic planning process for social initiatives, integrating deep industry knowledge with innovative strategies to meet and exceed client expectations. Develop strategic plans and campaigns that are thoughtful, deliverable, and impactful
  • Client Relations and Business Development: Drive business growth through strategic client consultations and pitching new, innovative solutions. Reviewing performance to guide optimization of materials to meet and exceed KPIs with client strategic imperatives
  • Data-Driven Insights, Analytics, and Media: Collaborates with the Analytics and Media teams and leads to derive actionable strategy and insights from campaign and tactical data, continuously refining and optimizing strategies for value creation and impact
  • Provide oversight and leadership for the digital comms strategy / social communications planning strategy + product/offerings across Momentum's global offices and key disciplines
  • Becomes fluent in and contributes toward improvement of Momentum capabilities, processes and culture
  • Builds trusted, positive relationships with clients
  • Manage and mentor direct report(s); fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to agency policy
  • Supporting Momentum's Values
  • All other duties as assigned


HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)



  • Bachelor's degree or similar proven experience, preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in strategic digital/social communication planning within a marketing agency/consulting firm
  • Expert knowledge around key digital platforms and communications channels (social, digital, influencer, search)
  • Experience with paid social media planning, social listening, research tools and analytical reporting a must. Hands-on qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and demonstrate an intuitive ability to discern what is important
  • Strong analytical, presentation and listening skills
  • Confidence and credibility to hold high-level strategic discussions with senior executives internally and at client level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven collaborator who is solution oriented, organized and detail-oriented
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning
  • Self-motivated, high energy individual who can function in a high demand, performance driven environment
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with comfort for ambiguity



SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $215,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
