SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Teams, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. We are looking for a Senior Hardware Manufacturing Program Manager to join the team. As Microsoft's cloud business continues to grow the ability to deploy new offerings and hardware infrastructure on time, in high volume with high quality and lowest cost is of paramount importance. To achieve this goal, the Hardware, Infrastructure Management, and Fundamentals Engineering (HIFE) team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for dedicated engineers with experience for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the cloud infrastructure. ResponsibilitiesManage the deployment of complex technical products into data centers, coordinating with diverse teams across technical, operational, and logistics domains. Utilize past experience in silicon/ systems/ product development (NPI and sustaining) to drive both technical and operational management of data center products. Leverage engineering background/ knowledge in problem solving Maintain ownership of the manufacturing processes while having a thorough understanding of the program from concept to dock. Manage technical hardware programs from requirements to launch, including project schedules, removing roadblocks, and ensuring smooth processes. Align stakeholders and manage projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with high quality. Communicate program plans and status with management and team members, tailoring the message to the audience. Navigate and lead others through complex technical challenges and business issues to deliver impactful results. Provide timely and detailed status reports to senior leadership and internal stakeholders. Embody our Culture and Values
