Sr Accounting Analyst

The Sr Accounting Analyst is responsible accurately maintaining of proper accounts to ensure financial records and procedures are up to date.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Streamlining and maintaining both normal and complex accounts
• Ability to work with Excel books sheets, analyze and interpret data and deliver complex reports
• Analyze, Monitor all the transactions and prepare financial reports for the annual budget of the company.
• Perform period end General Ledger account reconciliation, including research and correction of any discrepancies
• Import and post various journal entries into the general ledger
• Ability to find accounting issues and solve it
• Delivering monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Create roles and accounting procedures aimed at reducing the cost for the company
• Promptly and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
• Complete other duties as assigned

Compensation: $65,000- $75,000 Salary, DOE

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• 5 years of experience in Accounting

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, i.e., MS Word and Excel

• Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Previous experience working with Oracle is preferred

• Prior experience with revenue/project analysis is a plus.
