Overview

Are you a goal-oriented market development pro audio expert?

Our Events and Content team is hiring for a Manager, Market Development with professional audio production and related RF experience to lead and train Shure end users.

In this once in a lifetime dynamic role, you'll develop and implement engaging programs and events to drive sales, build relationships through technical support and demonstrations, generate demand, and close deals. You'll also provide actionable market insights to keep Shure's products competitive.

This customer facing role will influence some of the world's highest stakes events!

This role is remote with extensive travel ideally based in the Southern California or surrounding areas.



Responsibilities

    Develop and execute strategic plans to introduce and market exciting new products and technologies.
  • Discover and prioritize market opportunities by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential customers.
  • Continuously enhance our Market Development and Training & Education programs by implementing new processes and workflows to support regional business growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management and Applications Engineering to develop and deliver engaging educational programs, presentations, and events that showcase the benefits of Shure products.
  • Design methods to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and follow up with end-users to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide valuable support and feedback to Product Planners and Product Marketing Specialists on Shure's product lines.
  • Monitor competitive activity and share insights to maintain our leading edge in market development.
  • Offer hands-on support for critical applications across the designated territory.
  • Generate new revenue opportunities by effectively matching end-users with the right products for their needs.
  • Embrace a variety of tasks and responsibilities to contribute to the team's success.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
  • Extensive experience providing audio technical support, audio design, and audio equipment set-up.
  • Background or experience with 1-2 of the following: touring production, theater production, integration, conferencing, broadcasting, or networking.
  • Deep understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Enjoys meeting and dealing with new people.
  • Knowledge of audio DSP technology.
  • Expert troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, work independently, and see projects through to successful completion.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and good time management skills.
  • 50% travel annually - including some weekends - is required.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $93,800 - $201,700. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
