Administrative Specialist, Junior

Nationwide IT Services has an immediate opportunity for a Junior Administrative Specialist to support
Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller(SAF/FM)
on the STAQSS II (Staffing and Technical Support Services) contract.

The SAF/FM organization within the AF serve as key advisors to senior AF leadership to balance limited resources against top priorities by providing timely and defendable information, analysis, and recommendations.

This position is located at the Pentagon and will be approximately 4-5 days on-site. A Secret Clearance is required.


The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and managing high level meetings, to include Congressional and SAF/FM and SAF/AQ Front Office engagements
  • Setting-up and maintaining file plan
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on administrative related matters, included schedule management
  • Creating, editing, and maintaining Excel and SharePoint databases
  • Performing reconciliations between databases
  • Maintaining records and executing government administrative policies
  • Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties listed above and as coordinated with the COR

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business or related discipline
  • A minimum 3 years of experience relevant to the tasks listed in the job description
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with well with senior leaders and their administrative staff/offices
  • Familiarity with Air Force or DoD protocol

Work Experience Substitutions:
  • 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
  • Associates degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
