Daikin Applied is seeking a KBE Configurator Programmer who will be responsible using knowledge-based engineering for the design and development of the rule-based AI software systems. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

• Define and maintain project timelines that span an average of 2-3 months in length
• Divide and delegate module tasks that are basic to moderate in scope
• Identify and apply industry best practices when applicable
• Assist in the creation and evolution of rule-based artificial intelligence automated agents
• Convert basic rules-based designs into code for automated bill of material, assembly drawing, and flat file outputs
• Provide input to project leaders for estimating and scheduling projects to meet development costs and completion dates, in accordance with new product introduction practices
• Develop test programs for new software
• Analyze test data and report to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks
• Provide assistance to other users of knowledge-based engineering systems and software

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Drafting
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Drafting, Design or Engineering Systems
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Drafting

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $53,500 - $81,600 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
