Position Description

This position will be involved in the investigation and resolution of Quality Issues within the facility and field related items. This position will be required to work with all involved parties to determine the appropriate root cause and an acceptable resolution to eliminate the occurrence from happening again

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Technician will implement corrective/preventive actions as required. Verification of processes through testing, measuring, and/or capability studies. Maintenance of scrap, VOC and RM databases. Participate in quality work groups as required. Oversee projects to assure on time completion while meeting all customer expectations. Work with Operations Managers and Supervisors to resolve quality issues.

Required Education & Qualifications

The Quality Technician must have knowledge of engineering standards, basic computer skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, and be able to read blue prints. Must be familiar with the 8D process. Must be able to do capability studies and data collection.

Associates Degree or enrolled in a degree program preferred. 5+ years quality and coil operations experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing and/or quality. Proficient in math, blue print reading, computer skills including word, excel and power point.
