GENERAL PURPOSE The Business Process Optimization Manager supports functions critical to customer care, technical support, and sales processes, productivity, and efficiency. They support processes that enable us to provide outstanding service and support to internal and external customers across the Legrand AV Retail, and Residential teams. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Implement process improvement across all Customer Care and Sales Operation teams
- Initiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures
- Field questions and investigate discrepancies - primarily from Sales, Customer Care, Finance, and Product Management
- Collaborate with Customer Care, Outside Sales, Product Management & Accounting teams to ensure proper set up of customer accounts
- Research program, pricing and reporting issues identified by various sources - Customer Care, Sales, Accounting, and collaborate with appropriate parties to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to ensure retail customer programs are successfully implemented
- Manage other business process improvement projects as assigned
- Enter pricing information in SAP system for new products and ensure proper information is available on price lists
- Work with Customer Care and Credit to investigate recurring reasons for customer disputes; identify root causes and recommend alternatives for addressing issues
- Work on ad-hoc projects and reports as requested
- Back-up team members in the event of absences and/or workload variations
- Consistently support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and the Company's policies and procedures
- Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Associate's degree with coursework in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance with a minimum of three (3) years related work experience in a position requiring frequent cross-functional interaction and/or data analysis, or combination of relevant education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience as a manager of people
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Power BI
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
