Medical Receptionist - Registration Coordinator
Mclean, VA Pay From: $20 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Receptionist 1 plus years of medical office experience Experience obtaining insurance verifications and pre-authorizations Scanning medical records Ability to review benefits with patients Ability to determine co-pays and review financial obligation with patients Scheduling procedures Experience providing administrative support Strong documentation skills and experience working with EMR Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction well Must have great customer service skills and a positive attitude Experience working with a large number of physicians/physician practices High School Diploma DUTIES: Verify insurance Pre-Authorize procedures and surgeries Review benefits with patients and calculate co-pays Scan medical records into EMR Provide assistance to the office as needed Work with a variety of physicians and physician practices Enter patient information into EMR Collect co-pays Other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
