AESC is looking to add a Security Engineer to our team at our Smyrna, Florence or Bowling Green location

AESC's Tennessee gigafactory in Smyrna, which has been operational since 2012, produces batteries for Nissan. The Kentucky gigafactory in Bowling Green will supply Mercedes-Benz with high-performance battery cell modules. The South Carolina gigafactory in Florence will supply technology-leading battery cells for new electric models produced in BMW Group's Spartanburg plant. About the RoleSecurity Engineer role focused on supporting Information Security (Infosec) and Cybersecurity teams, particularly with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Solutions, and Firewalls. The role of a Security Engineer focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Solutions, and Firewalls can have a significant impact on a business, both from a security and operational perspective. What You Will DoKey Responsibilities: Identity and Access Management (IAM): Design and implement IAM policies and solutions (e.g., Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM)). Manage and support IAM tools (such as Okta, Microsoft Active Directory, or CyberArk). Conduct audits and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Endpoint Security: Deploy and manage endpoint protection solutions (e.g., anti-virus, endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools like CrowdStrike or Carbon Black). Monitor and analyze endpoint security incidents and respond to threats. Ensure patch management and security updates for all endpoints. Firewall Management: Configure and manage firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco). Conduct firewall rule reviews and ensure proper segmentation of network traffic. Monitor firewall logs and ensure that the firewall infrastructure is aligned with best practices. Collaboration with Infosec and Cybersecurity Teams: Work closely with the broader cybersecurity team to analyze vulnerabilities, manage incident response, and help remediate security risks. Support internal security audits and vulnerability assessments. Participate in threat intelligence sharing and work on proactive defense strategies. What You Need
