Responsibilities

Join a high performing team providing analytical results for multiple space-based RADAR missions. Serve our decision makers and warfighters by ensuring customers and users can fully visualize and assess GEOINT operational capabilities from multiple sensors.

You will work closely with internal Customers and External users to ensure their mission use cases are analyzed using modeling and simulation runs . You will engineer analysis plans, test cases, data models, and orchestrate software testing to ensure the end-to-end system-of-system solution meets mission needs.

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Lead geographically dispersed analysis team to define, plan, and deliver end-to-end collection trades across multiple platforms.
  • Create analysis plans including schedule/roadmaps, lists of dependencies, and allocation of resources to ensure new runs are fully coordinated across all the applicable teams.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track analysis status and results across multiple systems.
  • Develop content for programmatic deliverables such as Weekly Activity Reports, Program Management Reviews, Data Accession Lists, etc.
  • Engage GEOINT community on early/future CONOPs to prepare for new capabilities, support new Operational sensors, and prioritize discrepancies and enhancements.
  • Lead Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) between the Gov't, SETA, and contractors, and Arcfield teammates.
  • Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measure
  • Presents findings and recommendations to appropriate groups and helps to determine what actionable steps can be taken based on the findings. Communicates and trains users on model results. Prepares written, non-technical reports to management, indicating analytical finding and models. May supervise more junior staff and schedule work to meet completion dates. Guides predictive analytics model development. Interfaces with customer and helps define work process.
  • Allocate and assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks, define team tasks and priorities, train and mentor junior team members, review work of junior engineers
  • The selected candidate will have the aptitude to assess processes and create efficiencies continuously and will lead GEOINT related projects. Due to the broad nature of the team workload, the selected candidate will ideally have knowledge in GEOINT end-to-end activities to include sensor operation, processing, and distribution.

Qualifications

Required:

  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Must Possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • GEOINT Domain knowledge of customer's mission capabilities (particularly with Radar systems) and overall space and ground architecture.
  • Experience with EO or RADAR planning and scheduling, imagery, metadata, and/or calibrations.
  • Strong representational, oral, and written communications skills; including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products.
  • Proven organization and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government.

Desired:

  • Experience with RADAR processing
  • Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA).
