About the Position

The GTM Finance group at Juniper is looking for a strong Finance Associate Manager with relevant experience to support the GTM Finance function. The ideal candidate will have strong forecasting, planning, pricing, financial modeling skills, excellent communication abilities, be data driven and detail oriented to analyze both quantitative and qualitative information into actionable insights and results.

This role will require a strong understanding of Juniper's mission as well as business priorities across customer and product segments. This role will partner closely with Area leaders to help create the vision, strategies and priorities for our finance team. This role will lead, grow, empower and inspire a team of finance professionals, and work across the broader finance team

Responsibilities:

This individual contributor role will become an important part of the AMERICAS Finance team and help drive several key activities including Forecasting, Planning, Deal pricing and financial analysis for the Enterprise Segment. This is a great role for a highly motivated individual who can function in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.



  • Support Forecast Process: Work with the Area Leader to support the weekly Forecast process and submissions and track metrics like close ration, linearity, pipeline coverage etc
  • Pricing support - Provide support for deal pricing. Maintain record of historical pricing and make sure approvals are aligned accordingly for existing customers
  • Ad-hoc reporting - Support the Area teams with adhoc reporting requests by working with the Analytics team or leverage existing reporting capabilities. Will include both top line and opex reporting as well as sales productivity.
  • Work with Area team on other requirements like expedite shipment, reserve material, credits and others
  • QBR support - Quarter end support tied to reporting and making sure accurate Finance data is represented. Help with other requirements like deal slips, future quarter forecasts etc
  • Data hygiene and reporting - Work with Area teams to review accuracy and hygiene of data including pipeline, account allocation and mapping.
  • Opex - provide guidance to the team on opex / spend and to highlight variances to Plan and levers to pull when spending is higher than Plan
  • Planning and Quota setting - work with the Area Leader on Plans including Quotas


Business And Communication Skills



  • Understand the big picture as well as details of a business and effectively communicate to guide successful outcomes to business partners and other key stakeholders
  • Responsible for continuous process improvement and implementation of toolkits to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop high-trust relationships with the GTM Sales teams and finance leaders to understand long-term business objectives and uncover opportunities to accelerate growth and drive efficiencies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the finance leadership team, ensuring that we're thinking holistically across multiple segments and functions


Qualifications:



  • MBA preferred with a passion for technology and finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and capable of synthesizing multiple sources and large amount of data
  • Attention to detail, self-directed, organized and efficient at time management
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in Enterprise Forecasting and Planning models
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, Tableau, Clari and Anaplan
  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.


Minimum Salary: $117,600.00

Maximum Salary:$169,050.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $117,600.00 and $169,050.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
