We are seeking a dynamic HR Partner to be a strategic advisor and consultant to business leaders, ensuring alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives. This role is responsible for managing employee relations, performance management, and talent development strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement and organizational success.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing workplace concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances, complaints, and disciplinary issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Develop and implement policies that promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks related to employee relations matters.

Performance Management:

  • Lead the execution of performance management programs, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Coach managers on effective performance management practices to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
  • Identify and address performance issues, working with managers to develop improvement plans where necessary.

Talent Development:

  • Facilitate the implementation of talent development programs, including leadership training, career development initiatives, and succession planning across the organization.
  • Work closely with managers to identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans.
  • Other Duties as needed or required (include as last item)

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Growth mindset with flexibility and adaptability; strong change management skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude; innovative thinking and takes initiative.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles with a focus on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a corporate setting, for a publicly traded company.
  • Prior people management experience preferred.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry or other highly regulated industry.

  • Walking/Bending/Stooping 10%
  • Lifting Requirements 25 lb
  • Travel by air, rail, auto (% of time) 5%
