Job Title: Medical Reviewer Ad/Promo

Duration: 12 months

100% remote


Job Description:

* Review promotional materials to ensure medical accuracy, validity, and appropriateness of content in accordance with approved labeling, scientific data, and relevant laws and policies.

* Determine the appropriateness of data and references used to support promotional claims and marketing messages.

* Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders on issues related to promotional materials or claims.

* Engage with commercial business partners early in the development of promotional materials to enhance efficiency.

* Work with the Medical Affairs team for the assigned product(s)/therapeutic area(s) to increase efficiency and mitigate risk of promotional claims.

* Review, provide comments, and document verdicts for all assigned promotional materials within the Veeva Promo Mats system.

* Participate in collab meetings as assigned.

* Stay updated with medical literature and data in assigned therapeutic area(s).

* Participate in relevant internal and external meetings and trainings.

What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position:

3+ years ad/promo medical review experience, in medical affairs, in medical review, or in regulatory ad promo

Client Medical Review experience highly preferred (Veeva promo mat and med-com)

Neuroscience Parkinson's Disease experience

In this role, you will support and manage projects, provide medical input on branded and unbranded content, and participate in various initiatives. You will represent medical affairs in the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process to ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have excellent collaborative and project management skills, a strong understanding of MLR processes, and effective communication skills, competitive reviews, and publication analyses.

What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, experience, education, or certification:

1. Education: Advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD or PharmD or equivalent). Parkinson's Disease experience is valued.

2. 3+years ad/promo medical review experience; Client's Medical Review experience highly preferred (Veeva promo mat and med-com)

3. Experience: 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent, with a strong understanding of medical affairs.

4. Scientific Understanding: Familiarity with interpreting scientific evidence and knowledge of the patient treatment journey.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information and interact with internal and external stakeholders.

6. Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

7. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and strategic thinking.

8. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
