As part of a high-performing, collaborative, and agile team, this position supports communications and public relations initiatives by creating and posting multichannel content optimized for engagement. Assist in planning and executing projects, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and collaborate with stakeholders and departments to foster engagement, alignment, and transparency across the company.

Teammates who reside within 50 miles of their assigned office must report onsite at least four days per week. Teammates who reside more than 50 miles from their assigned office must be able to work onsite at the corporate office at least one day per month and attend key meetings and events as needed.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Support communications campaigns and projects that align with enterprise OKRs, enhance teammate engagement, and promote positive brand reputation.
  • Write, edit, and post high-quality, multichannel content, including intranet, web, email, digital signage, meetings, town halls, presentations, social media, and our teammate magazine that informs, engages, and inspires teammates. This includes, but is not limited to, communications briefs, messaging, press releases, intranet articles, website articles, presentation materials, video scripts, podcast scripts, speeches, talking points, FAQs, interview briefs, and additional deliverables as needed.
  • Monitor and manage our workplace digital communication display platform, manage user onboarding, and ongoing training and engagement.
  • Monitor and manage the teammate communications mailbox, drafting and distributing emails and ensuring that inbound messages are forwarded and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Create surveys and readouts for events, town halls, department meetings, contests, business unit and department initiatives, customer feedback, content submission, etc.
  • Partner with the marketing and communications team on the digital asset management portal, maintaining current communication assets.
  • Support the director of communications and public relations with event communications, including media coverage, research, and speaker preparation.
  • Collaborate with business unit, department, and business information services stakeholders to create and maintain email distribution lists.
  • Work with internal departments to collect assets for various projects.
  • Assist with quarterly reports, tracking progress against KPIs and OKRs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Skills & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Three or more years in a communications or marketing function.
  • Ability to function as part of a high-performing, collaborative, and agile team.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and copyediting for corporate communications and public relations content, including intranet posts, website articles, emails, reports, and social media.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint knowledge.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing and editing in AP (Associated Press) style.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong working knowledge of editorial and communication planning processes, including content creation and channel strategy.
  • Ability to work well within a highly collaborative environment.
  • Good judgment and calm composure in high-pressure situations.


Working Conditions:



  • The work conditions are primarily in an office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
