Short Description This position provides opportunity for growth and development as an independent investigator in NIH funded research and enhance professional skills in academia. Directly accountable to the Primary Investigator, the Research Scientist will conduct specific research projects related to stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) recovery. The Research Scientist will provide intellectual and technical support to research programs and initiatives Experience Required Experience in immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology is highly preferred 0-2 years' experience required; 3-5 years preferred Education Requirements Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in biological or related sciences required within 6 months of hire. Experience in immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology is highly preferred Special Requirements Track record of scholarly publication and excellent verbal and written communication skills required Communication - Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required Apply
