Primary Duties: Patrol Doubler, repair end breaks, creel new supply packages, and keep doff conveyor serviced.

Tools Required: Apron, scissors, hand knotter, and hearing protection.

Materials Used: Supply packages, tubes, doff box, racks, and flag cards.

Supervision Exercised: None; receives instructions from Supervisor or Shift Lead Person.

Job Procedures:

1. Follow all established Plant Safety rules.

1. Patrol assigned spindles and inspect package quality.

1. Repair end breaks, verify the presence of 2 ends. Remove any yarn made with only one end.

1. Creel in new supply packages. Tie new package to transfer tail of running package.

1. Place full packages on racks.

1. Flag bad spindles. Fill out a flag card and hang it on the cradle.

1. Place empty rolled nose tubes in designated boxes for MVS Spinning.

1. Maintain cleaning and housekeeping on and around the Doubler.

1. Perform all other duties as directed by management.

Minimum Job Requirements: Must be able to read and write. Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision. Must have basic math skills.

Follow all Safety Rules, and comply with the Job Safety & Health Analysis (JSHA). All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used as required. Any accident or near miss must be reported immediately.
