Position Summary:
Provide superior client service Provide project management expertise Contribute to the growth of the company and meet assigned financial targets Enhance your own professional and personal skills Develop our people and inspire others Essential Functions: Provide extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques Oversee and lead large programs compiled of several tenant fit-out and ground up construction projects Manage multiple concurrent projects while aligning with client objectives across your active project list Take responsibility for the overall success of major projects Proactively analyze and manage project-related issues and mitigate risks. Define success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle Create an engaging environment where the project team is committed to achieving outcomes that exceed clients' expectations and meet JLL's objectives Establish effective organizational structure for reporting, communication, and working procedures, and ensure that clear objectives and quality control systems are in place. Lead a team of professionals to exceed client's expectations for all project management services while executing projects alongside the team. Provide on-site leadership for the project team, motivating team members to meet project goals Lead project management team meetings Set and continually manage project and/or program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and/or program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas Assist in training and developing JLL team members in the skills and understanding of firm procedures, methodology and practices expected for successful project implementation. Facilitate and encourage the project team to establish practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand the capabilities for the organization. Demonstrate a focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner Manage project planning for all phases of the project Work closely with client user groups in coordinating their specific requirements. Develop scope, estimate costs, and develop project budgets and schedulesManage the procurement process Assemble and manage the required teams of consultants and contractors Assist with feasibility studies, RFP process, proposal evaluation, and vendor recommendations for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholdersAssist with contract negotiations Interface with consultants, architects, contractors, client staff, property owners and vendors Provide appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met. Manage the delivery of progress report and other necessary documentation to effectively communicate project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues Manage the day-to-day project activities and monitor overall project progress Manage project scope and changes Act as an internal quality control check for the project and participate in quality issue resolution Manage the monitoring, tracking, and resolution of issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with project and/or program stakeholders Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk Assist in the establishment and refinement of best practices and standards of excellence. Ensure customer satisfaction Maintain excellent client relationships Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. An advanced degree is an advantage. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Minimum of 6 years of relevant and progressive work experience in project management In-depth knowledge ofprojectmanagement and extraordinary skillsin thediscipline Experience leading project teams and managing numerous projects simultaneously Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technologies as required for assigned projects. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client's representatives, and team members Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clients A working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to corporate real estate Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed Highly organized with strong analytical skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, MS Project software, and Smart Sheets |
