Job Summary

COMPASS ONE IS NOW HIRING A REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS TO JOIN THE COMPASS ONE AT AMAZON TEAM.

Position located in Los Angeles, CA with a strong preference for applicants within 30 minutes of Culver City, CA.

The Regional Director of Operations will lead team across multiple sites in Los Angeles, Irvine, and San Diego markets, ensuring the highest standards of guest experience, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader in food and beverage, a proficient coach who excels at motivating people, and someone who consistently drives operational performance and execution. A range of services are included across the geography including multiple food program concepts, catering, theater concessions, premium services and corporate dining cafes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively coach and motivate team members, focusing on specific, measurable outcomes to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • Oversee daily operations of dining, catering, events, and service delivery across all business lines under your purview.
  • Regularly review and update procedures to maintain high standards and meet evolving guest expectations.
  • Strengthen partnerships through regular meetings and feedback sessions with location partners.
  • Collaborate with regional and department leadership to drive innovation and best practices.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety and sanitation across all activities.
  • Foster an environment of innovation by encouraging team members to propose new ideas.
  • Review financial reports and develop action plans to achieve business goals.
  • Work with culinary leadership and partners to drive menu development and operational enhancements.
  • Conduct event walkthroughs and interact with team members, guests, partners, and VIPs.
  • Identify and plan for management support needs during peak times.
  • Maintain flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
  • Enhance guest experience by personalizing interactions based on feedback.
  • Leverage data analytics for decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead continual operational improvement planning.
  • Manage budgets and P&L to support optimal financial performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs. multi-unit management experience in leadership role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly knowledgeable in high volume premium hospitality services.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Understanding of financial concepts.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
