ProHealth Moreland Surgery Center is an AAAHC accredited multi-specialty facility that operates weekdays with no call or holidays. The primary specialties served are General and Vascular, Urology, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, and Plastic Surgery. Other specialties served include Oral Maxillofacial, Gynecology, Podiatry, and Pain Management Surgery. MSC has seven multi-purpose operating rooms, with over 75 practicing physicians and 50+ team members. The surgery center is consistently ranked in the top quartile nationally for patient satisfaction and performs approximately 5000 cases annually . We provide a fast-paced yet efficient work environment that ranks in the top 10% nationally for patient wait times.

What You Will Do:

Moreland Surgery Center is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator, an Allied Health professional or Registered Nurse, to oversee medical staff quality initiatives and data reporting. This role plays a key part in peer review processes, quality assurance, and performance improvement efforts using multiple platforms, including EPIC.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate medical staff peer review projects, including case review selection and physician engagement.
  • Prepare and maintain peer review grids, collate outcomes, and support annual QAQI program reviews.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining physician profiles using department-specific criteria.
  • Generate and consolidate quality reports across EPIC and other systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide quality data to the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC), Peer Review Committees, and external reporting agencies (CMS, CDC/NHSN, AHRQ).
  • Conduct performance improvement studies and collaborate with staff on process enhancements.
  • Prepare meeting notices, agendas, and records for the Medical Advisory Committee.
  • Maintain the Emergency Preparedness Manual and ensure compliance updates.
  • Serve as the designated Infection Preventionist, collaborating with hospital infection control teams.



Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in health information, data collection, or project management.
  • Skills: Strong relationship-building, customer service focus, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Attention to detail: Strong written communication and project oversight skills.
