Advantage Resourcing is seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join a team in Monroe, LA! If you're ready to take the next step in your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Join a dynamic team where you'll work directly with other members of the Accounting Department and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Pay: $20-30/hr (based on experience)

Shift: 8 am- 5 pm

Benefits: To be discussed upon hire.

Responsibilities:



  • Record daily transactions and prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with fixed asset schedules, journal entries, and month-end close process
  • Help prepare financial statements and collaborate with the year-end audit
  • Analyze costs, revenues, and financial commitments for future projections
  • Maintain financial records and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned


Requirements:



  • 3+ years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting)
  • Proficient with accounting software and financial statements
  • Strong Microsoft Office and database skills
  • Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • CPA, SAP, and budget creation experience are a plus
