Join our Sibley Nursing Team as an ICU RN!

Johns Hopkins Medicine-Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. was ranked among the top hospitals - fourth in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area by U.S. News & World Report in 2024.

A new, ultramodern intensive care unit (ICU) opened at Sibley Memorial Hospital on Oct. 4, 2023, on the second floor of the main patient tower. The ICU team specializes in the management of adult and geriatric medical and surgical patients who have or are at high risk for a variety of life-threatening conditions.

Position Details




  • Intensive Care Unit: 14-bed unit with capacity to expand to 18 beds
  • 12-hour shifts
  • PRN RN minimum requirements 36 hours in 6-week schedule



Minimum Education and Experience:




  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
  • Minimum of one year current experience in an ICU setting.
  • AHA CPR card
