Summary:

The US PD Market Planner (MP) manages inventory at country level. MPs critically examine and mitigate supply exceptions and lead communications between the commercial team, customer support, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Network Planners, Demand Planners, and fulfillment teams regarding gaps between inventory and customer demand. MPs work with Supply (Network) Planners to mitigate short and medium-term supply and inventory issues and determine strategy for communicating gaps between inventory and customer demand to commercial team. The MP will align with fulfillment and demand planning to ensure a balanced network within country nodes, along with driving process optimization and continuous improvement ideas and projects.

The role encompasses a high level of risk management and order leadership accountabilities.

This Market Planner will be responsible for US Renal PD inventory.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own the inventory plan execution for the market. Drive for inventory optimization opportunity analysis and deployment. Analyze and report inventory variance being the accountable owner.

  • Own the communication strategy through the S&OE process supporting the commercial team for supply issues. Including leading commercial meetings to review pipelines to manage country fulfillment and manage back-order risks with Supply (Network) Planner and communicate to commercial teams

  • Provide country or market-level feedback to Network Planner such as a change in any required parameter changes for cluster/country (e.g. lead time (F), safety stock (MP), freq. (F). Communicate with Supply (Network) Planner's and commercial and other stakeholders any mid-cycle MPS adjustments, DRP parameters and proactively resolve supply issues.

  • Co-lead with Demand Planners to drive consensus discussions with Commercial team and Finance in country level S&OP

  • Understand, resolve, communicate, escalate low cover products, and proactively compile escalations and tracking for regional review.

  • Order management includes monitoring inbound POs, and work with Supply (Network) Planner, global logistics and transportation, shipping site, global carriers and foreign trade to find resolution to short term supply issues.

  • Monitor customer limits and rebalance product allocation, when needed in cooperation with marketing partners.

  • Responsible for independently managing new product launches and product phase outs within the market or cluster in alignment with commercial.

  • Update of JDE sourcing to direct DP forecast to the correct BP (site) subject to geographies and local processes/ownership. Build and maintain reports for commercial team including transfer orders and customer-specific reports. (US), the Market Planner role will be limited to imported products.

  • Provide proposals for supply issue resolution and make recommendations for stakeholders approval.

  • Complete monthly reserve proposal, identify and communicate opportunities for discard avoidance and they own to follow through the opportunities to ensure they are executed.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Minimum of 5 -7 years related experience in supply chain management - warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service or/and inventory planning is required.

  • Detailed working knowledge of effective Supply Chain performance, including Operations management.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to judge when to deep dive - the Market Planner will be self-driven to achieve their outcomes.

  • Proficient in MS Excel.

  • Proficient in RapidResponse or other relevant planning systems.

  • Significant experience of prioritization and ability to adapt to change.

  • Proven stakeholder management skills (including influencing, communication negotiating and conflict management) and experience in a geographically diverse, matrix organization.

  • Basic Project management skill and lean/continuous improvement.

  • Customer focused, service mindset.

  • Local language skills required.

  • APICS certification is a plus.

At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $76,000 to $85,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
