Warehouse Specialist

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Specialist with an Active Secret Clearance to facilitate accurate inventory of Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) assets. Applicants must have a willingness to follow all safety and conduct rules and comply with company policies. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. This position falls under the DOL's Service Contract Act (SCA).

Specific Duties:

• Assisting the Team Lead/Manager in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task as directed.
• Providing technical knowledge where applicable.
• Facilitating accurate inventory of all CBR assets counted daily, by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality management systems (QMS).
• Performing quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities, by way of visual, technical and cyclic inspection on all CBR equipment.
• Utilizing established processes, procedures and technical guidance to perform job duties while complying to all safety, conduct and company policies and procedures as defined.

Required Education/Qualifications:

• Must hold an Active Secret Security Clearance and maintain that clearance with 6-month re-verification.
• Ability to work standing for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED
• US Citizenship required.

Preferred Education/Qualifications:

• Experience with appropriate Navy CBR equipment.
