Job Description

We are looking to add a Quality Engineer to work from our Twinsburg, OH location. As a QE, you will assure quality products and processes in Electronic Assembly (SMT/Post SMT) by establishing and enforcing quality standards, testing, materials controls thru trends analysis, uses of tools and data. Establish a reporting system and prepare quality reports. Drive continuous improvement and standardization of best practices in the organization to achieve best-in-class quality. Participate in design reviews, design verification and validation, monitor results and drive risk ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required. You will report to the Team Lead - Quality. You will work onsite from our Twinsburg, OH location.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Implement audits of products, Quality System Procedures, Operating and work instructions in compliance with ISO 9001 Quality system requirements.
  • Prepare audit report and corrective action requests to correct audit deficiencies and discrepancies.
  • Provide technical support in engineering change review, drawing and specification review to meet ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Manufacturing defect or failure trend analysis and suggest improvements.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical failure analysis.
  • Effectively apply technical or professional skills within the context of one's role.
  • Recognize/anticipate barriers to completing assigned work/projects.
  • Ensures quality and manufacturing process readiness before start of mass production to attain a flawless launch.
  • When standard procedures do not apply, use judgment, and draw on experience to interpret information, solve routine problems and/or recommend approaches.
  • Adopt technological change that impacts own functional area.
  • Adhere to defined and communicated standards, methods, and procedures, with openness to identifying improvements.
  • Ensure that all work activities add value (directly or indirectly) to the customer or partner.
  • Act resourcefully to ensure that work is completed within specified time and quality
  • Balance many priorities and competing demands effectively.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related field of study
  • 1+ years of engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and assembly
  • Data analysis experience in relation to root cause problem solving
  • Six Sigma/Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt
  • Knowledge of HW Product Design and Manufacturing Processes from Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Electronics Industry will have an added advantage
