Position Responsibilities:

- The new faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in chemistry and biochemistry, including laboratory courses
- The teaching load will be three courses per semester (approximately 9 contact hours per semester)
- The new faculty member will have designated laboratory space to conduct research and an opportunity to mentor undergraduate students
- Additional responsibilities will include student advising, working with the faculty of the department in learning assessment, coordinating multiple laboratory sections of a course, and collaboratively contributing to the growth and educational advancement of our students
