Manufacturing Engineer

Job Purpose:

This position will work with Senior Process Engineers, responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the Chemical and/or Mechanical Process areas to produce state-of-the-art printed circuit boards.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Applies sound engineering principles and disciplines in order to understand and minimize the variability associated with the various processes and finished product attributes.
• Defines operating procedures and SPC methods to assist operators in production environment.
• Evaluates product and process capability, equipment reliability, process utilization and process cost opportunity while implementing improvements.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering. Will also consider applicants with an Engineering Technology degree.
• 1+ years of related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is desired but not a requirement for this position.
• Knowledge of SPC principles as well as statistical representation of data and process/product variability required.
• Project management skills and strong written/verbal communication skills are required.

Salary Range(annual): $65,000 - $72,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
