Overview The Entry Level Technical Associate (EP) will be involved in all aspects of the support and maintenance of the Operation Management System (OMS) and other systems managed by the OMS team. This position will involve analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing software solutions to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a passion for technology. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain software applications to support business functions. Assist in the design and implementation of new systems and processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software functionality and performance. Create and maintain technical documentation. Qualifications Required Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of full-time or internship experience (or at least six months of cooperative or summer internships in Con Edison) Relevant Work Experience Development experience in technologies such as C#, VB.Net, SQL and any other Microsoft technologies. Required Excellent oral and written communication skills. Required Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Required Understand skills of software design and architecture. Preferred Experience working in a regulated cyber environment. Preferred Understanding of energy utility industry. Preferred Licenses and Certifications Driver's License Required Physical Demands Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday Additional Physical Demands Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
