Job Summary
Position will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Manager of Finance and Controlling with the financial evaluation of various strategic and operational initiatives. Responsible for accuracy of the plants financial statements including, valuation and cost of production in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Salary Range: $120,000-168,000 Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 14% of the base salary. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial results package, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, Headcount, Capital Spend and Production metrics Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reconciling accounts, reviewing, and preparing journal entries Generate variance analyses and financial reports for management and stakeholders. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost control and optimization Prepare and update financial forecasts to support short-term and long-term planning Cost Analysis and Control: Analyze manufacturing costs, overhead, and variances to identify opportunities for cost reduction Implement and monitor cost control initiatives, working closely with site department heads Assist in calculation standard costs for all products to produced at the plant Inventory Management: Summarizes locations exposure for obsolescence by coordinating monthly review of inventory and wastage reserves Monitors and Projects future Net Working Capital valuation at the site Team Leadership: Mentor the finance team, providing guidance, training, and support Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Financial Analysis and Decision Support: Provide financial analysis and data-driven insights to aid operational decision-making. Support senior management in evaluating capital investments and new business initiatives Capital Expenditure Management: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual CAPEX investment needs Tracks, Monitors and assist department heads with project implementations and spend timing Requirements
