Speech Pathologist Supervisor Otolaryngology Voice Center Full Time 83721BR Job Summary The Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Supervisor 2 will work to fulfill the department and institution mission including clinical care, education, and research. The SLP Supervisor will supervise professional staff to ensure high-level clinical services are provided in compliance with policies and procedures. Assists with development and implementation of new programs, policies, and procedures, in addition to providing a full array of clinical speech pathology services. Supervises the accountability and stewardship of human, financial, and often physical resources in compliance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives. The SLP supervisor oversees clinical care across the OHNS Speech Language Pathology team and is responsible for supervising the development, operation, human resource, administrative, and business functions of SLP staff, SLP student interns and clinical fellows, as applicable. The SLP supervisor will participate in and/or help facilitate clinical research opportunities to advance patient care and the field. The SLP supervisor must be autonomous, a collaborative team member and must demonstrate extraordinary organizational skills, leadership ability, and professional competency.
