Description
The Division of Population Behavioral Health is seeking to hire a part-time Community Engagement Specialist to join the UCLA VA Veteran Family Wellbeing Center (VFWC). The VFWC serves as a vital access point for veterans and their families, providing life-skills training, health and wellness services, recreation, prevention programs, and educational support. Primary duties include:
Please note, this is a part-time position where you will work 20 hours a week. This may include some weekends depending on department needs.
Salary range: $32.76/hr - $49.65/hr Qualifications
Bachelors degree in behavioral health field or minimum 3 years of experiencein instructional design principles and practices, including multiple learning modalities, interactive training design, e-learning, distance learning, etc. Demonstrated ability to support training to paraprofessionals, educators, and other providers Experience supporting cultural and trauma-sensitive training Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced work environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of manualized psycho-educational training programs and evidence-based interventions Familiarity with LA-DMH and other LA County systems Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail |
