Python with GenAI & ML - Onsite

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Machine Learning, Azure Open AI Service, and Python, with a proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments. This role involves developing and implementing advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems, enhancing data processing and model deployment, and applying artificial intelligence techniques to improve decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Utilize Azure Machine Learning and Azure Open AI Service to enhance data processing and model deployment.
• Apply artificial intelligence techniques to improve decision-making processes.
• Conduct natural language processing to extract insights from unstructured data.
• Write efficient Python code to support machine learning and AI projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can inform business strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of machine learning models in production environments.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices and methodologies.
• Support the development of data-driven products and services that align with the company's goals.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in Azure Machine Learning, Azure Open AI Service, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Python.
• Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
• Experience in developing data-driven solutions that drive business value.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Passion for leveraging data to make a positive impact on the company's objectives.

Compensation: - $90,000 to $130,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted till 03/12/2025
