Job Summary This position will perform electrical installation duties as directed in support of the Engineering dept for North American operations. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
- Perform all electrical construction activities at the facility.
- Responsible for the selection and procurement of electrical equipment and supplies necessary for the construction of processing facilities.
- Responsible for the supervision of sub-contractors hired to help in the construction of process facilities or buildings.
- Inspect and maintain all electrical equipment and facilities.
- Develop and institute a program whereas up-to-date drawings and electrical schematics are maintained.
- Responsible for tracking progress and costs of all electrical jobs in progress.
- Carry out any new electrical projects from Greenfield site to completion dealing with main power or new service.
- Responsible for controlling both materials and labor and tracking both items on ongoing jobs.
- Coordinate with other corporate electricians/technicians on how work is to progress and develop a plan that matches the job.
- Be fluent in the installation and programming phase of all electrical cabinets or control cabinets.
- Assist in involvement of new installations or upgrades as they occur.
- Keep work areas cleaned on a daily basis; all wire, conduit, raceways, etc. should be stored in a clean, safe manner.
- Responsible for the care and cleanliness of company issued tools.
- Communicate and interface with upper management, as well as District and General Managers in a responsible and professional manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
- 5 years proven experience in Industrial Electrical experience.

- Work well with others in a team based environment.
- Communicates clearly both verbally or in written form; excellent analytical skills.
- Leadership ability; able to direct personnel.
- Requires minimum supervision; makes timely, accurate judgments regarding production and process quality.
- Highly organized; superior time management skills.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally push, pull or lift up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently twists, tug, pull and stretch.
- Occasional long hours required during change-outs/switch-over.
Work Environment Job functions will be carried out in plant environments and/or in personal vehicle as required. Temperature will fluctuate depending on outside conditions.
