Position Summary

Responsible for the support and coordination of Facilities day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety at DLC occupied facilities and substations, their grounds, and infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid, North Side Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Responsibilities:



  • Daily interaction with all the Facilities supervisors, craft workers, and internal customers in various other departments across DLC
  • Manage, coordinate, schedule, and own the 4 major service contracts (janitorial waste removal, snow removal, landscaping)
  • Manage, coordinate, schedule, and own various other smaller service/maintenance contracts (elevators, cranes, HVAC controls, fire panels, etc.)
  • Point of contact for Facilities regarding bids, contracts, and projects run through the DLC Procurement team
  • Financial analysis for monthly budgets and other analytical work/projects
  • Investigate and solve billing issues and PO tracking within Maximo
  • Develop, update, and maintain Facilities' KPIs
  • Lead the request and fulfillment process for DLC employee furniture requests, seating moves, etc. through our furniture vendors, moving vendors, internal design technicians, and with internal customers
  • Act as project manager on small capital improvement projects across DLC facilities
  • Participation on the Facilities Site Safety team
  • Work on any other special projects as assigned
  • Position requires being on-call 24x7 per the Facilities on-call schedule



Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field required.

    • In lieu of a degree, a commensurate combination of education and experience will be considered.


  • Five (5) or more years of industry experience required.



Skills/Abilities Utilized in this Role Include



  • Proficient computers skills and experience working with a Work & Asset Management System.
  • Experience managing a large budget.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, senior leadership and vendors.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of Company-Union Labor Agreement, OSHA regulations and building codes.
