Clearance: Must possess or be eligible to actively possess a DoD Secret Clearance
Impact: As a Configuration Management Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of software systems critical to national defense. You will be at the forefront of the software development lifecycle, ensuring smooth and secure deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Configuration Management (CM) Lead on a complex software development project for a DoD client, managing and controlling software baselines.
- Review, accept, track, and distribute software development components, ensuring adherence to strict quality and security standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, providing technical reviews and feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Maintain meticulous version control and release notes for all software components, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
- Distribute software components to appropriate environments, supporting successful deployments.
- Develop and document CM processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle.
Required/Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of configuration management experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of CM principles and best practices.
- Experience in software development, particularly within the DoD or Federal Government contracting space, is highly desired.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments, leveraging methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools, automating software builds, testing, and deployments, is preferred.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and/or GitLab is a plus.
- Experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment, understanding its unique requirements and processes, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hold an ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE

Total compensation range is $100,000-150,000 based on applicable skills and experience. Our co
mpensation package includes 401k match, health insurance, life and disability, PTO, and additional benefits
