EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required
  • Experience

  • 3 years 3 to 5 years' experience in a hospital or multi-hospital system supply chain management, with a strong background in a clinical setting.

    1 year of experience in a lead role.
  • Licenses and Certifications

  • (DRIVERS) DRIVERS LICENSE

  • Bachelor's Degree

JOB DUTIES
  • Utilization of the asset and bed management systems effectively for tracking patients, transport staff, patient transfers, room turnover, EVS cleaning scheduled, and times, etc.
  • Assist in the daily coordination of workflow between nursing and support services (room cleaning, equipment cleaning/deployment, telemetry monitoring equipment/cables, oxygen, wheelchairs, etc.).
  • Demonstrate consistent improvements in performance metrics, providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to facilitate daily operations and identify improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate with laboratory and departments for tracking and delivery of all specimens, supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator -assets for patient transfers, discharges, and admissions for room set up and equipment distribution. Included but not limited to telemetry and telemetry cables, oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, etc.
  • Coordinate with laboratory and departments for tracking and delivery of all specimens.
  • Assist the logistics manager with data for a monthly reconciliation with metrics recalled via the asset management system.
  • Evaluation of assets and equipment to assist in developing, monitoring, and maintaining PAR level standards for items needed for transport equipment.
  • Assures patients/specimens/supplies/equipment arrive at correct location consistently achieving correlated performance metrics.
  • Assures availability of effectively trained transportation team members as necessary to accomplish performance objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
