Position Title: Forklift - 2nd Shift Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:30pm - 12:00am Work for a company in Marshalltown, IA with exciting potential for growth! Forklift Responsibilities: - Operate stand-up forklift to move, load and unload components to designated areas within warehouse - Use handheld scanner to scan orders in/out in preparation for shipment - Check parts received against purchase orders to verify incoming shipments are correct - Package and prepare items to ensure safe transportation - Inspect materials for damages and defects - Mark damaged when product doesn't meet standards - Rotate and stock materials as necessary - Maintain safe and clean work environments by keeping shelves, pallet areas and workstations clutter free Requirements for Forklift: - Able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally (3-5x/day) and lift up to 10lbs repetitively (10-15x/day) - Able to stand for duration of shift - Able to work in a non-climate-controlled area - Able to bend, twist, pull and crouch throughout shift - Able to read and write in English marshalltown@qpsemployment.com IND097 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
