Overview
The Department of Neuroscience is a basic science department that focuses on cutting-edge research in the areas of synapse development and function, sensory systems, and complex behavior, cognitive neuroscience and behavioral neurobiology. Dr. Yang is supported by funding from the federal government, private foundations, and industry. Dr. Yang is also extensively involved with the Graduate School of Biomedical Science Program in Neuroscience as well as teaching within the medical school. What You'll Do Under close supervision of Dr. Yang, he/she conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, and other laboratory techniques. May also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies. There are five primary functions of this position:

Pay Range Minimum $24.30, Midpoint $28.90, Maximum $33.50 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. |
