Job Description: Position Summary: The Financial Advisor I is responsible for providing personalized financial advice and guidance to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals. The incumbent is responsible for assessing the clients' financial needs, developing comprehensive financial plans, and recommending appropriate wealth management solutions and services. The Financial Advisor I gains knowledge and experience under the direction of the manager and department leaders through on the job training, observation, and by obtaining licenses to assist members in determining their financial goals and objectives. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop personalized financial plans based on clients' goals, risk tolerance, and planning time.
- Recommend suitable financial products and services, including investments, insurance, and retirement plans.
- Conduct regular review of clients' financial plans and make adjustments and recommendations as necessary.
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings and follow-ups.
- Completes mutual fund trade tickets, places trades, and monitors for settlement. Processes paperwork for annuities, life products and processes license documentation.
- Responsible preparing client paperwork ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Learns the different functions of each area of the Investment Services Department and the policies that impact compliance and service to members.
- Observe and assist Financial Advisor II and Financial Advisor III at various branch locations, welcoming members, answering phone inquiries, and meeting with members to discuss their financial situation to gain knowledge, experience on methods and procedures.
- Responsible for working with multiple brokerage, mutual fund, and insurance companies to insure proper documentation of production and reviews, and accurate and timely processing of the pending drawer.
- Reviews fact finders and establish client files to meet compliance requirements, runs illustrations and assists in mutual fund performance research.
- Participates in marketing activities to increase awareness of Everwise Wealth Management including seminars, lobby days, business development, member referrals and telemarketing.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of Everwise.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic understanding of wealth planning concepts and how they fit into wealth management solutions and principles.
- Strong familiarity with financial modeling and investment analysis tools
- Ability to analyze financial data and market trends
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous financial advisory or wealth management work experience.
- Life insurance licenses required
- Series 7 or Series 6 (or Series 66 or Series 65) license required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
