You Are:

Synopsys Corporate Strategy Group is seeking an accomplished, strategic, and results-driven Partnership Executive Director to lead and evolve our strategic partnership program. We are flexible in terms of which US office you will be working from. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven professional that has a proven track record of establishing high-impact partner programs, developing enterprise ecosystems, aligning cross-functional teams, and building strategic alliances within the enterprise software, engineering software, semiconductor or EDA industry. You are a visionary leader with strong relationship-building and communication skills, capable of influencing and negotiating at the executive level. Your strategic mindset and data analytical skills are complemented by your ability to manage multiple complex deals simultaneously. An MBA with a STEM undergraduate degree is preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop, implement, and continuously optimize Synopsys' strategic partnership program that supports scalable and repeatable engagement models.
  • Identify and address key gaps or challenges to partnership success, devising innovative solutions that drive program effectiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning partnership objectives with overall corporate strategic goals.
  • Oversee the partnership pipeline by identifying, prioritizing, and influencing processes to drive timely and impactful opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, finance, and marketing, to facilitate internal alignment and clear ownership of partnership initiatives.
  • Develop and track KPIs that effectively measure the business value and impact of partnership activities.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback to drive iterative improvements in partnership processes and outcomes.

  • Ensure that Synopsys remains at the forefront of industry trends by anticipating partner needs and adjusting partnership strategies accordingly.
  • Maximize mutual business value through effective negotiation and deal structuring with prospective partners.
What You'll Need:
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in managing strategic partnerships, ecosystem alliances, and business development within the enterprise software, engineering software, semiconductor, or EDA industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and launching partner programs from scratch, with a track record of scaling them successfully.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate at the executive level, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
  • Experience in developing, analyzing, and leading various partner agreements.
  • Comfortable leading multiple complex deals simultaneously while managing internal stakeholder expectations and driving deals to timely conclusion.
  • Strategic mindset and data analytical skills, with past experience at a top management consulting firm being a big plus.
  • MBA with a STEM undergraduate degree is preferred.

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
