Your Responsibilities as a Remediation Environmental Technician: * Collect soil, surface water, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air samples * Routine operation and maintenance of remediation systems * Use and maintain field monitoring equipment * Gather and enter data collected into excel spreadsheets * Draft template reports * Conduct stormwater inspections * Support Phase I ESA site inspections * Actively develop your own professional growth * Actively participate in a culture of safe work practices * Why you'll love working with us: o Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects. o Performance-based bonuses or other incentives. o Working with the best and brightest in the industry. o 1700+ employee national firm with 60+ locations across the US. What we're looking for: * GED or High School Diploma * Pursuing or achievement of a degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field * 0-3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection * Ability to lift 50 pounds. * Ability to work outside year-round. * The ability to multi-task and manage your own schedule * Valid driver's license, good driving history, and access to reliable transportation are required. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products * Experience with data management and report preparation * Safety minded * Experience with safety programs and safe work practices * Ability to travel to remote project sites * OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
