Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Web Application Developer who has outstanding design and coding skills, and a strong understanding of how to create web applications. Candidates must be strong in coding skills, logic, and attention to details. As an application developer, you will play an integral role in working with cross departments to define the enhancement requirements for the existing applications, and work with team to improve the tools.

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

* System provisioning and automation for bare-metal and virtual environment

* Automate the provisioning using the configuration management tool and various shell script

* Web based tool development for administrating the provisioning

* Stay current with trends in the industry and identify technical innovations

* Identify solutions to system performance and usability issues

* BS/MS degree in computer science or a related field or commensurate experience

* 3+ years of shell scripting and configuration automation tool such as Ansible, Puppet or Salt

* 3+ years working with / integrating RESTful API's and building web application

* Experience with PHP framework like Laravel or Symfony (or similar, e.g. C#, VB, Java)

* Experience with SQL (MS SQL, MySQL)

* Experience with web server such as Apache, Nginx and IIS

* Experience with server shell scripting such as BASH/Tcl

* Experience with Hypervisor such as ESXi, KVM and OpenStack is a big plus

* Experience with Nvidia AI Enterprise product is a big plus

* Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software

* Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player

* Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices

$68,640 - $100,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
