SUMMARY OF POSITION

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at healthcare professionals (HCPs), consumers and other stakeholders ensuring the successful launch of new CNS products and their sustained growth in the market.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

This position reports to the Executive Director, Sales Operations and is based in Morristown, New Jersey. This position will work in close partnership with other members of the cross-functional team and/or have direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand and Marketing Strategy & Positioning:

  • Develop and implement the brand strategy for CNS neurology drugs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
  • Define product positioning and key messaging for both HCPs and consumers, ensuring clarity and consistency across all communications.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive journeys, messaging and digital marketing strategies and media plans.
  • Participate in development of sales and promotional audience target lists with analytics partner and media partner.
  • Create clear goals and KPIs for initiatives in line with the company's marketing objectives and business targets.
  • Assess investment viability of programs based on anticipated ROI/value/impact and formulate recommendations for future based on learnings.

CNS Drug Launches:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams for the successful launch of CNS neurology products, ensuring timely execution of marketing activities and sales support.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch plans, and support the execution of these plans.

Market Research & Insights:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand hcp and consumer behavior, competitor activities, and trends in the CNS and neurology market.
  • Utilize data and insights to inform marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and identify new opportunities for brand growth.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage CNS brand and marketing budgets.
  • Track expenditures against planned costs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage budget variances.

Sales Support:

  • Partner closely with the sales team to create effective tools and resources that will drive product adoption and sales among healthcare professionals.
  • Develop sales training materials, product presentations, and promotional content to support HCP engagement.
  • Oversee the development of sales digital and print materials, ensuring that they align with brand messaging and compliance standards.

NPP (Non-Promotional Promotional) Campaign Management and Content Creation:

  • Plan and execute end-to-end digital and print marketing campaigns across multiple channels (third party and home office emails, social media, search engines, display ads, third party platforms, direct mail, etc.) with agencies while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with agency of record, media agency, legal, and compliance teams to develop and optimize promotional materials. Manage medical, legal, and regulatory reviews, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, compliant and follows marketing best practices.

Consumer Marketing:

  • Develop and execute consumer-facing marketing initiatives that build awareness and drive engagement for CNS products.
  • Utilize both traditional and digital channels, including social media, digital advertising, and influencer partnerships, to promote awareness and drive demand.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 8+ years' experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: market access, brand marketing, sales, pricing or market research/analytics, strategic planning
  • Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Patient marketing) preferred
  • Great oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex constructs
  • Ability to manage multifaceted projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and the medical, legal, and regulatory process.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with neurological conditions and treatments
  • Experience with patient support programs and patient advocacy initiatives.
  • Occasional travel may be required
